Have you ever tried a subscription service for your kids? We recently tried out Kiwi Crate, and let me tell you, the kids absolutely loved it.
Kiwi Crate is an award winning monthly subscription service providing quality hands-on creative and educational fun for kids ages 4 to 8. Each month's crate includes everything your kids will need to create two or three fun activities plus a 16 page magazine full of activities to extend the learning and fun. And it's all delivered straight to your door. It couldn't get any easier!
Each crate focuses on a different theme such as Music, Color, Robots and Safari. The theme of our crate was Amusement Park and it came with everything the girls needed to create Bumper Cars and Silly Squirters. So much fun!
Both activities were simple enough for Lola to make with a little supervision, but still fun for Ava. The projects included in our crate featured lots of stickers and, like most kids, my girls LOVE stickers so they were a big hit.
Here's a look at the activities that the girls worked on...
First up the girls made Silly Squirters.
They each decorated a clown face and a tiger face. Ava started out following the pictures in the instructions for her clown but soon let her imagination take over. Lola went all out from the start - eyes on one side, nose on the other... Likewise, Ava kept to the instructions when creating her tiger face but Lola decided to mix it up a little - or a lot. I love seeing what the girls create when I just sit back and let them do their thing.
Next up the girls made Bumper Cars.
With the bumpers cars suitably decorated with stickers (flames and lightening bolts to make them go faster!) the girls tested them out but zooming them across the dining table to crash into each other. Just bashing the bumper cars against each proved fun too!
Ava and Lola had so much fun getting creative with Kiwi Crate and I know that your kids will too.

I've been debating trying out these boxes - thanks for the helpful review. Since my tot is only 2, I'll probably wait a bit. In the meantime, I'm loving the Kiwi Corner app - lots of great free activity ideas there from Kiwi Crate.
