Elf on the Shelf: Week 3

Another week of December has gone by and that means another week of Elfie Pokie Nokie hanging around in our home. Here's a look at what he got up to over the past week...

On the fifteenth day Elfie got a little tangled in Christmas lights. We found him sitting next to our tree wrapped in a spare set of lights that I'd yet to hang on the tree.

On the sixteenth day Elfie decided to keep an eye on me for a change. We found him hanging out on my monitor where he spent the day watching me work.

On the seventeenth day Elfie and his friends got into a pack of googly eyes and gave themselves fun make overs! Doesn't Barbie look crazy with googly eyes? And that little Lego man? Hilarious!

On the eighteenth day we celebrated Hanukkah with some friends. Elfie decided to join in and played with a dreidel with his friends Hello Kitty and Canadian Mounty Bear. There was no chocolate gelt to be found in our home so they made do with M&Ms.

On the nineteenth day Elfie found out that Ava would be going on a field trip with her class to see the Oakland Ballet Company perform the Nutcracker at the Paramount Theatre. Inspired by this Elfie joined a few of his ballerina friends and put on his own performance of the Nutcracker. I'm not sure which role he's supposed to be in but he does look quite lovely in that tutu!

On the twentieth day Elfie tried to sneak inside of our gingerbread house - and got stuck!

On the twenty first day Elfie decided it was time we started wrapping some presents. He got some wrapping paper and washi tape ready for us but he just ended up making a mess on the dining table!

Elfie Pokie Nokie only has a few more days here with us before he flies back to the North Pole for another year. I wonder what he'll get up to over the next few days.
