When I was a kid I used to love washing the dishes. I hated drying them, but washing felt like such a grown up thing to do. Plus with all those bubbles it was fun! My brother and I used to fight over who got to wash the dishes. Of course, now washing the dishes is like the worst chore ever. But that's ok because I have a dishwasher. And two little helpers who are desperate to wash the dishes.
So when Boon released their new SUDS bottle washer I knew it would be a perfect addition to our kitchen. The girls can clean their cups thoroughly and reuse them throughout the day without having to fill the sink with soapy water. Perfect. The girls cut down on the number of cups being used, the dishwasher is run less often and they get to help out with one of their favorite cleaning jobs. Plus it's loads of fun to use!
We've discovered that the SUDS is also pretty good for cleaning some of our other regularly used kid items. Mathilde likes to eat out of squeezy pouches so she regularly has lunch out of a refillable pouch. These can be washed in the dishwasher but they often come out with little bits of food stuck in the corners. With a little bit of maneuvering while cleaning they can easily be cleaned on the SUDS bottle washer instead. The kids think it's hilarious when water shoots out of the spout! Reusable sandwich and snack bags are also easy to clean with the SUDS bottle washer. We then dry everything on our Boon Patch drying rack which is just there perfect size for our little kitchen (there are bigger sizes available too).
While Ava and Lola cleaned cups, food pouches and snack bags Mathilde decided to clean a frying pan on the floor! She was desperate to help her big sisters at the sink but couldn't reach.
The Boon SUDS bottle washer works with most baby bottles and sippy cups. It is BPA, PVA and Pthalate free, and is top-rack dishwasher safe.
You can pick up a SUDS bottle washer from Target and online at target.com for $22.99.
