Pokémon Party Invitations

For Ava's recent Pokémon themed birthday party I made the invitations in the style of Pokémon cards. They were such a fun invitation and Ava's friends were pretty excited to receive them.

Here's a look at the invitations...

I made the invitations double sided with the regular Pokémon backing on the back of the invite. I printed them out the same size as Pokémon cards. Just like the real thing!

In fact, the cards looked so real, that Ava had to hand them out at school in envelopes, as Pokémon cards are banned during school hours. She was a little worried that a teacher might think she was trading Pokémon cards with friends and confiscate them!

I made the invitations in Photoshop using a Pokémon card template that I downloaded. You can find the template here. I added the party details to the card and added a photo of Ava which I had edited to make her look hand drawn like a cartoon.
